Cream background with blue floral motif design on all pieces of china
Item #2 Large pale green glass ornament, Russain in origin turn of century??
I never thought to ask any questions about the painting when my folks were still living. Unfortunatly I am a only child and really have no living family older that I can ask any questions. I have wondered if it is possibly the work of Sarah L. Clark (1869-1936). From what little I can find about her, it seems to be the kind of painting she may have painted, but I have never been able to find an example of how she signed her work from any known works of her's. By looking at the back side of the painting it is apparent that the canvas frame and the actual picture frame are made of the same hard wood. What kind, I can't be sure. So, I am assuming that the current frame that it is in, is more than likely the original frame it was first mounted in upon completion of this oil painting. There are hair line cracks in the oil paint, mostly in the upper half of the painting and primarly in the clouds shown on the painting. The lower half of the painting seems to be almost crack free. The frame appears that it may have even been hand carved, since it not as perfect as something made by machine would be, but is so close you don't notice unless you really study it.
don't have pics
I cannot find any information on this Watson-Wallace piece - is it 2 pieces welded together or just rare? It appears to be 2 basic, footed, "Bon bon" or condiment-style bowls connected by an ornate handle with a pattern I am unable to identify. Each bowl is 3.75" round by 3.75" tall.
I came across this book at one point in time, and the only result i can find on the web is the following link,

I am very interested in its value, and also are interested in selling it.

The document certifies "Patrick Morris" enlistmennt date, discharge date. It references "Act of Congress approved March 8, 1873".
It is a painting of a waterfall in a forest. It has a wooden and black velvet frame.
Theese pieces definitely seem to be carved.I can't see any type of seam like you might find with glass. Both of the birds crests have been broken off long before I got them.
