I have a heavy glass vase approximately 7" tall, 4 1/2 " wide at the top, and 2 1/2 inches wide at the bottom. It is round with a 3/4 " opening at the top, the glass is clear with green, white, pink, blue, & brown swirls going through it. There is a symbol that looks like a backward R and K together scratched on the bottom as well as the number 181.

These chairs apeear to be consturcted of rosewood they have a light green fabric on them, not much is known of the history.
Not much what I can say about the painting... my dad found in an old woman's home after she died. It appears to be an oil painting, 19th century perhaps. The person in the painting has factions pertaining to be Russian but all of this is uncertain as I am no expert. The frame appears to be old as well. The signature located on the bottom left is very faint. It appears to spell out "Laeffle". The frame is old and appears to have a signature in a different handwritting "Kedpo"....
I would appreciate any piece of information that can be provided, possible origin, who is the person in the painting, possible value...
Thanks,
Chris
This chair appears to be oriental, but i'm not sure. It was purchased by a friend of mine a few years back for $500.00. She is wanting to sell it, and I have no idea what it may be worth.
