This piece is in very good condition.Ā It is missing a little bit od the detailing on the doors, but other than that it is in good condition.Ā I haven't been able to find any markings on it and it looks like it is made of mostly the same kind of wood.
Picture is a cross with I believe is a bible under the cross. I know this is an old printers block but no other information.
Any info on this doll? Made in Western Germany? Thx

Two primitive Lions carvedĀ into black horns.Ā One is slightly taller than the other, just under 6" high. The widest part of the base diameter is under 3" on both. One has a thicker horn than the other. The horn thickness on one is about 1/2" while the other is about 1/4" thick. The thicker one is also heavier.Ā They have a similar luster to black piano keys. I have not cleaned these so they have a bit of dust and in need of a cleaning. They would look better with a bit of polish. The two horns are slightly different in size. I don't know what type of horns these are. They are hollow on the bottom. The thickerĀ horn was cut rather crudely and you can feelĀ the roughness of the cut. The thinner horn has a very smooth cut. These are definitely hand made in a very primitive manner. The eyes appear to be something that wereĀ inset into the carving. There are some chipped edges at the base of each which could easily be repaired. I have no idea what these are. My best guess is primitive African carvings. I can't find any info about them on the internet or otherwise. I would like to know what these are and any guess at value just for my own curiousity. I bought them in a very dilapidated rural junk shop in Collin county Texas about 1999. The building was very old nearly falling down and just a mess inside. I bought them because I had never seen anything like them before. The carvings look like they might be fairly old. Any info would be appreciated. I have attached photos from all angles.

2 Green Gin Case bottles, molded bodies with melted on necks. Almost identical except for shoulder design. Molded in 'Blankenheim and Nolet' on one flat side. The one found in Quebec is mint with vibrant colour. The one found in the Bahamas is faded and feels brittle, it has a small barnacle on its neck and a small clamshell inside.
