I purchased this brooch at a garage sale in Wisconsin a few years ago.Ā I would like to know it's value and history, if any.Ā Please email me with any informationĀ at [email protected]Ā - Thank You!
There are 14 pieces in total. All hand painted very nicely. Dominant color is pinkish. The manger is made of some type of cardboard as well as the Inn.
Seller mentionedĀ it was 'Lexington' and was purchased about 25 years ago. It is rock solid, sturdy, and heavy.Ā The mirror isĀ mounted to a base that has three drawers and lifts off the chest.Ā The mirror and base are as heavy as the chest itself (with chest drawers removed).Ā it is not disernible until you look closely. The mirror backing is just slightly loose but other than that nothing wobbles or is seperating or dry or cracking. The mirror itself is very fine quality and one would think it brand new. The top of the chestĀ is gouged pretty good but due to the medium finish. It is two over three drawers. The chest has ornamental keyholes in the three long drawers.Ā The hardware appeas to be original except I had to replace a screw for one handle-the middle drawer on the base-I had not fixed it at the time I took the photos so you will notice it is missing..
The clock has to be at least 65 years old. It is black mental not chrome...we think it's pre WWII.
It still runs and keeps good time. The case is in good condition with a few scratches. The face is in excellent condition, no scratches, no chips. The cord is original.
Can you give us an approximate value or what a clock like this is worth? What determines the higher or lower value of this type of item?
I have 15 unopened cans containing 5 different Playboy centerfolds,Ā They are:
Cynthia Myers, Jean Bell, Majken Haugedal, Connie Kreski, and Shay Knuth.Ā
This is beautiful bronze statue of a nude female.Ā I cannot find information on the artist.Ā I would like to find out if possible who designed this piece of art.
