It is in great condition, in original box.
This piece looks/feels to be made from wood. Honestly I have no idea if it has any purpose other than decorative. No name or any marking other than the images on the front. There is a hole at the end with a piece of suede tied through it, possibly to hang from? The image on it looks to be Egyptian inspired and is painted on. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Photo of the item is shown on this website.
We bought this at a Willis Day warehouse auction a few years back, it was in the last room which they sold, we are a collector of horse item as we have horse of our own, I told my husband I would like to have it but I thought it would bring too much. It had been a long day and the crowd got kinda slim and I got lucky I guess... We have it in our family room and every one that come thinks it is so neet but no one has ever seen anything like it eaither...I would never sell it but would like to know what it is worth....
We have searched the web and have not found anything like it. I have only found cheap felt mammy dolls. This doll has real african american hair. The shoes are made from porcelain, not cloth, and she is wearing a cloth apron, dress, bloomers, and stockings.
This is not a picture of the actual set but a picture of the early World Book set. The ones in question are from 1952.
All original pieces of game intact. Score sheets, dice, pencils, shaker cup and directions booklet.
