Re: Connecticut Valley Arms Kentucky Flintlock Pistol...?
Re: Connecticut Valley Arms Kentucky Flintlock Pistol...?
The CVA's were not High quality when they were new. This one is obviously one of CVA's "Kit" pistols. It is incomplete, it has never been fired, there are pieces missing and it doesn't look like the barrel has been fully fitted into the stockwood. The Tang screw is missing, there is no leather or lead wraping the flint to hold it secure in the cock and the lock doesn't look like it has been fitted tight to the barrel. The triger guard is missing all together, sights missing. DO NOT TRY TO FIRE THIS GUN!
The kit new was only about $50.00. The value has not gone up.
