Re: End Of The Trail Painting by Michael J. Meketi
Hello,
My grandfather, Michael Meketi painted "The End of the Trail" in 1970. He was born in Foster, PA in 1918 to Hungarian & Polish/Ukranian immigrants. He moved to Aurora, IL as a child & worked for the Burlington Railroad. He was a talented artist, painter, cartoonist. He loved the southwest & it was a common theme throughout most of his oil paintings. He also painted many religious pieces for area parishes.
He passed away in 1987 - at his art gallery.

Re: End Of The Trail Painting by Michael J. Meketi
I was excited to see you had some information about this artist. He was my mother (Bonnie Johnson) uncle. (Perry's sister). I was looking for some art work from him. I would like to find a piece for my house. If you know of any artwork for sale, please let me know... thanks...
