This piece seems to be a water tumbler. It is hand made with the top formed from a 1/16-inch thick sheet of silverĀ and then joined. The seam is almost invisible. The bottom is made ofĀ a 1/8-inch thickĀ by 2 1/2-inch diameter silver disc silver soldered to the top. Almost all of the outside surface has a heavily hammered look. The top has a smooth 1/4-inch band all the way around. A couple of the hammer marks cross over into this band. The applied bottom is smooth. The inside is generally smooth but you can faintly see some of the stretch and compression marks from forming and faintly see the backs of the hammer marks. The front has a monogram. It consists of an 1 7/8-inch diameter circle with the initials B MAC forming the circle in Art Deco form. The bottom is stamped FH in a square cartouche approximately 1/8-inch by 1/4-inch longĀ and STERLING 935 in a cartouche approximately 1/8-inch by 1/2-inch long. It weighs 4.14 oz. (129 G.)
