Description
Folding table, stamped "Made by Paris Mfg. Co., Paris, ME, USA, No. 13." The top does not have ruler markings, so this is not the sewing table version. Dimensions are 19"h x 29"w x 18"d. There has been repair to one deck brace, as the wood is no longer anchored by the original hardware in the original holes. One leg brace is split. The original slide mechanism on the center underside of the deck is also missing and has been replaced. The deck itself is separating at the manufactured joint.

From my dusty files for this…
From my dusty files for this company. "Founded 1861 by Henry & Lucille Morton (see http://www.pariconsleds.com/company.html). Paris Manufacturing Co. supplied the sleds for both the Admiral Peary Expedition to the North Pole and a follow-up expedition by Donald Macmillan in 1914. The company is most famous for manufacturing the classic Flexible Flyerâ„¢ wood sled with steel runners. It also now (2007) makes foam sliders , toboggans , saucers , plastic sleds, baby sleighs , PVC inflatables , snowboards , snow toys and helmets."
As far as I know they are still in business, tables like this one tend to date from the second quarter of the 20th Century and have modest values, under $50.00.
