It has been a family treasure for many generations.. no visible damage.
A deceased sister (died early in 2001) collected Lalique, and we have stored much of it for many years. This particular piece is not only undamaged, but still has the original sticker as listed above on top between the feet, but also two stickers on bottom. One: Marshall Fields dept 113 class 043, vendor 004 style 11643 Liberte (accent on the last e) $1350.00. The other small one has simply 11643 handwritten.
I believe this is the only piece we have with the original stickers still on it. Would it be better to sell the pieces we have as a lot (a few have some small damage, and most are listed on various receipts from LaLique New York) or piece it out?
What's happening in the crystal market now?
For Those Who Love Antiques Roadshow - Here's the Cream of the Crop Find:
This was found in my great-great grandmothers attic in Northern Missouri. I have more picutes if needed feel free to let me know.
Looking to identify the style of these 2 chairs to start to investigate the potential value.
One is a rocking chair and the other is standard. Leather seats with horse hair stuffing and large cushion springs in the seat, similar to what is in a sofa. I think it is oak. Dark stain. Very substantial pieces. The chairs are sturdy and in very good condition but the cushions need to be redone, as the springs have separated from the body of the cushions.
This set needs cleaned. It was in an attic of a house that is to be remodeled. Tray has small ding marks, but the other pieces are in very good condition
Thirty cards, 18 have no creases, etc.
(2) Quoizel 1973 #1961 Hurricane lamps in excellent condition. Looking for value and Nme of pattern if any.
IE: Abigail Adams. PLease help
Three figurines. Lace Skirts. Two standing ballarinas and one sitting on a sofa. Hand painted. Some florals on one of the tutu's
28" wide x 68" long x 24" deep. Solid copper tub encased in oak box. Brass decorative feet.

I often have to tell people that the item they think is most valuable is not the stuff in the china cabinet, but the rug that cat is sleeping on and the dog's water bowl ;~). Such is the stuff of dreams.
