antique brass whiskey flask

By tofat123, 27 November, 2011
Description

This is a round brass flask that is 3 3/4 inches x 2 inches, the spout is another inch, the total size is 4 3/4 inches high.  Both front and back have an armored knight on a horse with several decorative borders including a border that is raised around the perimeter.  The flask has feet on the bottom to stand it up.  There are what appears to be a coat of arms on either side, the flask has a chain to hang it from.  There is also a chain attached to the stopper.

looks like it was made around late 1800s or early 1900s

I would really like to find out the maker of it.
