Large Antique Copper Candy Making Pot

By mosnana, 17 March, 2012
Description

This was a gift to me from an old friend who knew how much I've always loved anything copper. The only one I've ever seen like it was at a prestigious crafts fair, where they were making candy in it for sale to the public. I've left its' surface with the original patina it had when it was given to me, but it could easily be polished up for display or use. I'm guessing it's from the 1930's or earlier. Its' demensions are 8 1/2" tall x 16 1/4' wide, not including the two handles on each side.
