Brass Oil Lamp Middle East

By joezachderek, 2 February, 2013
Description

This  oil lamp (suspected brass) was obtained in 2007 in the Middle East. The metal appears to be painted with a black coloring, though the metal shines through the paint. There are no recognizable manufacturing markings, although decorative scratches appear along the sides. Not solely decorative, used for its intended purpose.
