Description
I have a fish fossil that I acquired approx 10 years ago. It is quite large and spectacular, and I believe it came from the green river formation in Wyoming. I am not sure about the type of fossil, but based on some basic research it seems to be a Diplomystus fish fossil.
There are 9 total specimens, 4 large ones and 5 smaller ones. There is also evidence of smaller specimens of a different species on the rock.
I was interested in the possibility of selling it and was wondering if anyon could give me an estimate of price. I am pretty sure I know its worth but would like to confirm with an expert. Below as some facts and attached, are some pictures:
Approx 300LBS
50 inches high and 62 inches wide
9 fish species on the rock
Condition
Good
