Antique Hand Carved Dining Chairs Upholstered Oak?

By WMSFOLKS, 17 June, 2014
Description

I have acquired 6 dining room chairs.  They look to be handcarved with a grape & leaves theme.  I believe it is oak.  They are upholstered on the seat and back with a reddish orange crushed velvet type fabric.  They are in good condition, there are a few areas where they look to have been glued/repaired and one "ball" on the top spindle is missing on one chair.
