Re: Detroit star porcelain oven/stove
I'm a shopper, not an appraiser.
And its been years since I bought one of these (like back in the mid-1980's) At that time there was a small shop in Healdsburg CA (can't recall the name of the shop) that had several old stoves to chose from. Don't know if they are still in business, but a Google serach might come up with something.
If memory recalls back then, they were $200 and up, and in fairly good working shape. Have not a clue what they are worth today. I don't recall the manufacturere, but the one I bought back then was yellow, had 4 burners, the oven, and had a seperate wood-burner section on the left side too. I think I paid about $250 for it back then.
