1940's Duncan Phyfe Dining Table and four chairs

Description

I am not even sure if this is authentic. How do I tell it's authentic? There are no markings. But I do know it is at least 70 years old. Passed down in my family. It looks a lot like1940's Duncan Phyfe style I have seen online. Is it mahogany? Cherry? Two leafs come with it. All in all it is in very good condition. The surface is smooth and almost blemish free. There are three areas on the surface of the table that have some light foggy damage that i am sure can be fixed. See pics. I just had one of the feet reattached. Slight marking from use of vice grip to reattach foot. see pic. The chairs have been reapolstered.
