I purchased this vase from a thrift store for 8 dollars the other day. Here is what I have been able to find out about it. -This is a baluster vase that dates back to the Guangxu reign period of the Qing Dynasty (1875-1905-roughly). The markings indicate that it was made by "Cha Yi-Xing", who was an active porcelain artist during this period. -The age marks on it seem to be consistent and the design is supposedly called the "Ding Flower Series". -The vase stands around 14 1/2 inches tall and does not have any cracks or chips in it.
-I have not found a vase with this design, and with the same unique shape. The majority of these designs have the same shape or have a very similar shape (may indicate uniqueness).
