Vase Lamp

Description
This lamp has been in my family for over 105 years.  Unfortunately, we don't know much about it.  It looks like it might have been a vase that was turned into a lamp at some point.  There are no identifying marks on the bottom of the lamp or vase.  The only marking on the lamp is on the brass part of the socket- it says Bryant  Made in USA.   There is a black square turn knob on the socket, but no markings on it.

The design on the vase is a lake and pastoral scene.  On top of the painting are raised dots and flowers that are covered in gold.   It is approximately 17 inches high (from base to top of the socket) by about 6-7 inches wide.  Any information that can be provided would be very appreciated.  Thank you!
