I've been trying to research this painting and I've had almost no luck. We were given the painting and were told that it was a painting that used to hang in Julia Child's home. It has a #118 stamped on the back and a small copper tag on the front of the frame. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is an authentic Caravaggio?
