Antique Canadian furniture

By MartinCarlB, 9 January, 2018
Description

I try to sell an antique set of Canadian furniture since 2 years but what doesnt help it I dont exactly know how it can worth and when it was made. Im not sure Canadian furniture have lot of expert or categorie but anything about it can help to sell I think or at least put the right description about them.

What I know it we buy it with all the cushions in real bad shape, but the frame was real good so we just made new cushion from them all with some good quality textiles. Just those cushions and textiles and the time worth already alot.

When we buy it we got some info about it was bought in the time in R.N. Tombyll an Upholsterer in Montréal. It was a retailer active near 1900 so I suppose the furnitures date from there. But maybe even before as maybe they was just repair there.

So it good to just call it Canadian antique from earlier 1900 or it have somekind of different category to difference them? They are at 1200$ for the whole now but I started at 1900$. any tip will help thank
