Native american arrow or dart

By Spring Stroud, 22 January, 2020
Description

In the late 50's my dad was with my grandpa working on a house on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. He was 13 at the time and dug up this what he always thought to be an arrow. They took it to the Heard Museum in phoenix az. The Museum gave him some info and said it was in such good condition it was worth too much to put a price on. His family took the arrow and for years he tried getting it back. So i never really got the info on it. When he passed recently the gave it to me. I've hit up evey resource i could think of. I have Museums telling me it an amazing piece, definitely over a hundred years old, and one thinks its atlatl dart. But none have experts in this field at this time.
