Description

Would anyone kindly let me know when and where was the antique armchair in the photo made, please? My grandfather left it but nobody, including my parents, knows details about the chair. Many thanks.

Re: antique furniture

It appears to be American Eastlake Style, made about 1880. The style is named after the English Designer Charles Eastlake, whose design book became very popular in North America in the early 1870's.
