Large turquoise necklace

Hello, I inherited this necklace from my mother. After she passed, my aunt said she had something in her safe that my mom wanted to send me. I had never seen this necklace before then. I would like to have some idea of the value of it. My mother was 1/4 Pottawatomie, although in my youth, she identified closely with the Navajo. She would have been 85 this year. As I said, I have no idea when she acquired this or why she had it put in a safe for me to have after she died. That is why i am here.
