Looks like a brass bell that has a cross on top says 1786 on 1 side and santa barbara on the other side

Nearly all these bells are commemorative pieces, made well after the date embossed on them. Generally the date just indicates when the founding date of the City/Town/Mission was established and not when the bell was produced. Value wise, most sell for lessthan $75.00
