The words " rare and "

The words " rare and " lithograph" are very seldom used in the same sentence, as lithographs by their very nature are a medium for producing multiple exact copies, in many case editions of 500- 1000 are not uncommon. Most editions are marked with a number , eg 234/500, which in this case would mean the piece was number 234 out of an addition of 500. In the current market his lithographs sell in the$250.00- $750.00 range at auction .
