Oil painting

By Jo Bella, 3 December, 2008
Description

I'm trying to identify this painting.  The only identification is a label on the upper back of the frame.  The label notes what appears to be a 1st name which has worn away but seems to consist of 8 characters and then - "Member of the Chew Family", there is a logo which states on the left "Kennedy & Co.", on the top "785-5th Ave.", on the right "Rare Prints", on the bottom "New York", and in the middle "K & Co.".  Any information on this would be appreciated.
