Porcelain pedestal fruit bowl

By consumer49, 30 April, 2009
Description

I was always told this was a "fruit bowl" that was given to my grandmother when she was married (prior to 1921). I cannot find anything in any antique books to help me identify it. They lived in Bethesda MD during that time period.
Any help in determining its value will be appreciated. Thank you
