This is a Chinese Ching (Qing)dynasty desk, likely late 19th century, lkely Rosewood. Yours appears to be of fine quality, and similar desks regularly sell at auction in the four to six thousand dollar range for the desk alone, with the matching chair I would say it would add an additional 25% to the value. They can sell for much more in antique galleries. I have one in my collection that is even more elaborate depicting fighting dragons with ivory and ebony eyes, and 3 dimensional large carved ivory lotus blossums, it is the most extreme example I have ever seen in my career it has been appraised for over twenty thousand.
