Description Not sure who made this plate and I would like some help identifying the manufacturer. The back of the plate has three marks one is the date of manufacture: 21 R for August and J for 1880. The manufacturers parcel number is 10. And it has IV at the top for earthenware. The other mark appears to be a number (2/779) with two quotes under the 779. The last is next to the date and looks like a check mark that is sideways.
