WRSCO 1905 A DOUBLE SIDE PAINTING(BOTH SIDE)

By EQ123, 22 September, 2010
Description

Hi,

It appears this painting was done by someone in the WRSCO group and that it was done in 1905. They started the painting on one side of the paper and messed up with red dye or paint by one drip, so they turned the paper over and started to paint again of old lady standing by her picnic table and fruit trees, along the side of river because of a painted boat. Either way, they felt the painting wasn't good enough to show, but it was signed WRSCO 1905. This painting was hiding behind a picture of Jesus with his arms stretch out to all mankind. The WRSCO company started back in 1860 and is still going strong on today 2010. There was a painter by the name of  Theodore Waddell who was apart of  starting this company in 1860.

I need more help in finding out about this painting of water colors.

Sincerely,

Quentene
