Soup tureen originally thought to be made of pewter, but apparently it's "Black Silver" due to mfr's markings on bottom. Body and lid are engraved with leaves and flowers. Handles appear to be rams" heads (possibly goats'); four legs are each single stag's leg with head at top; lid has 2 stag's heads, back to back, each with short section of leg protruding; body had 2 visible dents, not large, near each other at one end; lid has small dent on outside and two very small scrapes on inside.
