Description

This is a very nice silver sewing thimble that I have had since the early 1970's.  Fingers must have been smaller in the 1800's as it fits my ring finger but not my middle finger where thimbles can be or were worn.

The thimble has a beautiful tiny honeycomb pattern with six sided(hexagon) chambers over the sides and the top.  The bottom of the thimble has two engraved channels and the below that is an unadorned silver ban 1/8th inch.

Inside has no ornamentation.

Condition

Good
