Dresden, Helena Wolfsohn (?) lidded urn/vase w/ Cherub Scene and Flowers

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Good
Description

Looking for help dating/pricing/identifying this piece. Beautifully hand painted, measuring approximately 33x20cm (13x8inches), 1.95kg including the lid. The lid itself broke at the very top and was glued back together by the previous owner - pictures included. Other than that, in excellent condition.

I suspect it is a Dresden, Helena Wolfsohn piece, although I was unable to find any similar in terms of color (cobalt) or the chosen scene (cherub). Possibly early 1800s? Mark is a blue crown underscored by a capital "D", seemingly below the glaze.

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Drinking glass set

Category
Glassware and Crystal
Condition
Mint
Description

Set of 10 Drinking glasses. Glass #1 has measurements of 8-inch height, 3 1/2-inch width, and 4-inch depth, while the rest of the glasses have a measurement of 7-inch height, 2 3/4-inch width, and 3 1/2-inch depth. Glass #4 is slightly smaller than the rest because I'd assume human error. All glasses have pontil marks on the bottom from glass being separated from blowpipe. Unknow if they are crystal or not. All are believed to be hand painted.

1847 Rogers Brothers Remembrance Silverware Set

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Excellent
Description

The Remembrance silverplate pattern by 1847 Rogers Bros IS is a classic and timeless design that was introduced in 1948.

Composition: The Remembrance pattern is made of silverplate, which means it has a thin layer of silver electroplated onto a base metal (usually copper or brass). Silverplate flatware combines the beauty of silver with the durability of other metals.

Design: The Remembrance pattern features a delicate and intricate design. It includes a beaded line that gracefully flows into floral accents. The combination of these elements creates an elegant and refined look suitable for both formal and everyday dining.

Availability: Although the Remembrance pattern was discontinued, it remains popular among collectors and those who appreciate vintage flatware. You can find pieces from this pattern in antique stores, online marketplaces, and estate sales.

Variety: The Remembrance silverware set includes various pieces, such as:
Dinner forks: Used for the main course.
Salad forks: Smaller forks for salads and appetizers.
Teaspoons: Used for stirring tea, coffee, or dessert.
Ice tea spoons: Longer spoons designed for tall glasses of iced tea.
Serving spoons: Larger spoons for serving dishes.
And more, depending on the specific set you acquire.

Sterling Option: In addition to the silverplate version, there is also a sterling silver version of the Remembrance pattern. Sterling silver flatware is made entirely of silver (usually 92.5% pure silver), making it more valuable and desirable.
Whether you’re hosting a special occasion or simply want to add a touch of elegance to your table, the Remembrance silverware set is a beautiful choice that reflects the craftsmanship and style of its time
