12 Piece Davis Cabinet Company Dining Room Set

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

I believe this set was made in 1981. It has been in my family since new and I have owned it since 1998.

It is constructed by Davis Cabinet Company in Tennessee and is from their "Legacy Collection".

Set includes the dining table with 3 leafs, 2 piece china hutch, and six chairs.

Pickled ash finish.

Table without the leaves is 48 inches diameter. Each leaf adds 18 inches.

Top of china hutch is lighted w/glass shelves; bottom has one drawers and lots of room for storage below.

The hutch is in excellent condition. The table is not too bad, normal wear for its age. The chairs are also normal wear, and still functional, just some minor cosmetic issues.

Vintner Brass Wine Bottle Opener

Category
Other
Condition
Excellent
Description

I found this wine bottle opener in a thrift store, and thought it would make a great conversational piece.  It weighs about 8 to 10 lbs. From what I can find out, it is about 40 years old and in good condition. I was wondering about the exact origins and what it is worth.

It is solid brass with the initials CM stamped into one side.  Little Cherubs and vines are stamped on each side.

19th. Century, Ashbil Griswold, Pewter Teapot/Server

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

I am looking to obtain the fair market value of a 19th. century pewter teapot or server, marked on the bottom, "A. Griswold".  It was dated by the previous owner as 1835.  Over-all. I would say it is in better condition than others I have seen, but they don't give any values.
