Hand carved chest. Not sure it's origin or worth.

Looking to find out what this item is and it's value. The top opens and there is a cord so I'm not sure what it's for. There are 4 cabinets etc doors with a shelf on the inisde.

This is a handcarved glasstop table with 4 stools and 2 drawers. It's in good condition. It has a small chip on the corner of the glass. It seems to be Asian type carvings. Would like to know it's value...
