Probably 19th century. Of box form, with baluster-turned spindles and a continuous back, raised on turned legs joined by stretchers. Length - 47" Probably formerly painted; reduced in height
I bought a bag of jewelry from Salvation Army. In this bag was this brooch. It has real rubies and diamonds in every pedal, leaf and stem. Through my research I believe this may be from the 17/1800s. The diamonds are very hard to see in this picture because they are embedded in the medal. Just curious if anyone can give me a time period And value on this brooch. I Have a Presidium gem tester and all the diamonds and gemstones are real.
P.s. also, this This brooch is very dirty (which also hinders the clarity of the Diamonds) and needs to be cleaned. I was afraid to ruin it, so I left it as is.
