African Folk Art Painting

Category
Paintings
Condition
Good
Description

This is an African folk/tribal art painting, depicting daily activities.

Likely from 1950-60s, Poto-Poto school from Congo.

Gouache on thick paper (or canvas), very colorful.

Signed by the artist DEB in the right lower corner.

I was not able to recognize the artist, but have seen a few paintings with the same signature.

Framed, the frame is a bit loose.
