I ought this item which looks like an old jewelry box from a unique charity shop for its uniqueness. Am clueless about antiques but feel it might be something special or not. It appears to me like it is made of bone and brass. Anyone know about it? Please advise.

Tables - are they even valuable?

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

Tables came with the purchase of a home with which, heir sold all furnishings. THese two tables came with home and unsure if antique or if any value. I know the tables are over 40 years old based on time person lived in home with said tables.

Hoping someone might see some construction of the tables to rule in or rule out antique or even vintage value. Trying to decide what to do with them.

Antique Secretary/student desk?

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Wooden, ornate secretary/children’s desk? Four drawers on right side with locks. Extensive, ornate, scrollwork and trim, leather blotter in desk lid. No idea of the age or value. There are no makers marks on the piece that we can find. I would appreciate anyone’s input on value, age or manufacturer.
