Obtained from a family member who states it was ~150 years old but unable to provide records. Manufacturer logo on back but unable to read it. Has the joint-type of assembly- no true screws seen (other than what was used to attempt to fix it). Wanting to know approximate age/manufacturer/approximate value.
This dropfront desk appears to be an Arts and Crafts style. The label indicates that it was made by Union Furniture, Rockford, IL. It seems like the oak is all quarter sawn.
This Antique Toledo scale has the most recent Patent Date 1914. The brass label is in good condition which indicates a style #612. It cold be a candy scale. The scale measures up to 20 oz. The original paint color was gold. The previous own painted it black which has been flaking off.
