They were passed down from a great aunt who was a collector, the story is they were wine jugs from the 1890's but turned into lamps in the 1940's. But not to sure.
Seat is fabric covered springs. Mom is not even sure where Grandma got this. It's solid. Heavy for it's size. Not sure I would sell it, just want some information on it
Beautiful wooden figure of either a Japanese or Chinese woman as the base of the lamp. Roughly 3 feet tall with large squarish lampshade which has two lightbulb attachments with chain pulley switches. The woman is cradling wheat or some
kind of foliage. Her robe is painted dominantly Chinese red and gold.
