This picture was my grandmother. She owned a dress shop and traveled the country. She bought this picture on one of her trips. When she passed, I had ownership and stored it away for about 20 years. Thas is all the information I have.
Old Iron twin bed that converts to a double bed. The piece that converts is underneath on wheels and pulls out level to the bed to double its size. All springs and hardware appear to be there and in working order. My grandparents bought this from an auction back in 1950 so its at least that old. I can't seem to find anything online about these beds or what they were called.
