This is a rare piece I found awhile back.  Burgundy velvet with cast iron ( maybe).

 This was in my grandmas house she is 86 years old.  She had alot of antiques.  I would think there should be a handle on this but I am only guessing.  It is beautifully etched with birds.

its a pating which looks old and was hidden in our family chest for 8 urs were moving and i decided to findout who painted this and found out its made by a known artist
