Estey Civil War Era Pump Organ

Category
Music and Music Instruments
Condition
Good
Description

This organ was a gift from my late husband.  I am preparing to retire and move to a local lake and will not have room for it.  I already have several other pianos.  I would like to sell it to someone who can enjoy it, but have no idea as to it's value.  I have played it and it sounds beautiful.  Thank you...Sonya Oveland (512) 668-4807.

Request Appraisal

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Fair
Description

The vase is oval and becomes fluted near the top with a handle. It is ornate with country scenes...animals, windmills, cottages, handpumps, etc.  The candlesticks are narrow just above the 6-sided base and then become 6-sided again, then again narrow, then fluted and 6-sided.  They are very ornate with figures of men and women in what appear to be country settings with cottages in the background.

I have rated condition as "fair" because they are intact and not dented, but there is very little silver plate left on them.

The number on the bottom of the vase is 3737.  The number on the candlesticks is 3966.
