THIS GERMAN TEDDY BEAR BELONGED TO MY OMA. SHE IS FROM TYROL INSBRUCK AND GAVE THIS BEAR TO MY FATHER AS A CHILD. THE GROWLER INSIDE OF THE BEAR NO LONGER WORKS. IT DOES HAVE A SLIGH HUMB BACK. THE BEAR HAS MOHAIR ( SOME HAS COME OFF THROUGH THE YEARS), .I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS BEAR IS A STEIFF AND IF NOT, THEN WHAT TYPE OF BEAR IS THIS? WHAT IS THE APPRAISED VALUE OF THIS BEAR TOO? I HAVE A LINK WITH SEVERAL PHOTOS
I found this as I was going through my Grandparents belongings, I am wondering who would have received these Think Metric, my Grandfather retired as a foreman at CN, but I am not sure if he would have had this then or when he was working as a crew. Or if he received in 1974 or at a later date.
I bought this chair from the old man out of pity, and my love for antiques. Only heard afterwards they are rare. Would love to know the value. All the hydraulics are still working.
