The painting itself appears to be an oil on canvas. There are two pears in a green bowl and three pears on the table. The colors are very rich. The painting has been signed by the artist (either the real Courbet or an imposter). I have compared the signature to ones that I have seen on his paintings (on the internet). If this is a forged signature, it was done very well. The painting itself looks quite old. I purchased it in a heavy, ornate, plaster frame, however; this frame appears to have been custom made to hold (surround)the original frame, which can be removed from the back of the larger frame. The canvas is wrapped around the back of the original frame and you can see that the area of the canvas that is not painted is yellowed, and very frail. The wood of the orignal frame is also very old.
I don't have any pictures, I'm sorry, but I can give you a decent description and within a couple days I can post pics. It's a Ford Motor Company tire, I believe from a Model T or possibly Model A, not sure. It feels solid, like just a solid piece of rubber on a metal, I think either steel or iron, rim. The rim looks like it might have had wooden spokes in it at one point. That's really all I can think to say, please, if anyone knows a little more or thinks they know what it might be worth, please let me know!
The item has a picture of a windmill. It is hollow with a hole that goes all the way through it. It almost looks like a bizarre candlestick. I would like to know what it is or was used for.
This machine has been in the family for longer than i have been alive. I had found it a little while ago while re-arranging. its a little dusty, and in a fair condition sewing table, but the machine has no scratches or scuffs,
