Wingback Bergere Chairs

Category
European Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Louis XV wingback bergere pair of chairs that we bought from a thrift store in Europe. Just curious about the appraisal and authenticity of these pieces. I hope someone can help me out to check if they are authentic and not the replica version. I think these might have been re-upholstered because of the under side (please see picture) but not sure. Thank you.

WM Antique

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

I don't exactly know what this is, just some sort of holder. It has the marks "WM" on the bottom and "21" on one of the legs. Other than that, I don't really know much about it, but I'd like to know what it is and what it's worth.

Antique Round Two-tier Tapestry/Glass Top Table

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have no idea the value of this table so am hoping to get some advice. It was purchased in a local Antique Shop approximately 30 years ago. I can't find anything online to compare & there are no manufacturing marks. I don't know the type of wood but it's dark reddish brown, so I'm guessing Mahogany, Cherry or Walnut. The top has an enclosed glass over a beautiful handmade (I assume) tapestry. There are four legs between here & the lower surface which is held barely above the floor with four small ball shaped feet. At the top of each leg a tiny gold color wooden star is attached. Everyone comments about how unusual & pretty it is but no one knows what it might be worth. I need to sell it for financial reasons, so will appreciate any knowledge or even guesses on the value. Local pick-up sale only - located in Triad area of NC.

Rocking chair

Category
American Furniture
Description

It is made of hand carved wood, and also bent wood on the sides - the brackets that connect between the back and the seat. Beautiful finish.  No stamp or marking to show if it was manufactured. Thinking 1800s?

Morris Chair

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

This recliner chair was purchased in the 1980's from a Boston area antique store. The spring seat mechanism was in bad shape so we replaced it & had new cushions upholstered, but the wood structure was/is in great shape. Otherwise nothing has been done other than furniture polish. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is but very solid & heavy, appears to be maybe Oak. It has wheels on all four legs. There are no metal screws or brackets holding the structure of the chair together, however the support underneath for the seat does have some old looking metal screws. The adjustable recliner rod is some type of metal with a worn gold color finish. The chair has been in our living room since then. I do not see a manufacturer mark but seems like it originally may have had a portion of a paper label. We were told it was a Morris Chair but knowing nothing about that when we bought it, we had no idea numerous manufacturers had copied the style since the original. I need to sell it now for financial reasons & just want to get a base value so I won't lose money from a fast talking buyer :) I will be trying to sell locally since I can't afford shipping or the risk of scammers. Value help from anyone viewing this or local interest in purchasing will be very much appreciated. Located in the Triad area of NC.
