The butter dish has a hinged lid and room for ice (I imagine). There was most likely a glass insert which is missing. I don't have the item to give it's size or weight.
This pitcher has been in our family a long time and
we're trying to figure out who the maker is. No one
seems to remember and we've searched through many books
and online guides and have yet to figure it out. Any
help would be appreciated.
