I mainly want to know what time frame this would have come from. It has a trangular sticker that says Mermans tables. I would suspect a sticker on a table would be the latter part of the 19th century. But I do not know.
I fell in love with this lamp which I found in a little second hand shop, after noticing the stamps inside, I called the Tiffany Studios in New York and they told me that although it wasn't made at the Tiffany Studios, Louis was at the Panama Exhibition in 1915 and that it could be one of his exhibition pieces. I would love to find out the history of my lamp and also the true value of it. I have been told that the base is called a 'cat tail lily pad base. I may consider selling if the price is right.
My Mother & Father purchased this before I was born in West Virgina, close to the coal mines. They told my Father that their son who was in WWII sent this to them while he was in Japan. Is there anyone who can tell me the value of this?
Thanks in advance
This presumably silver teapot has an ornate carved handle, hinged top, and engraved spout and feet. It is engraved with a number on the bottom in addition to the other markings. The number is 499-42-7187. The small bowl also has ornately engraved feet. It's markings say "F B Rogers", and there is also a the same number, 499-42-7187.
