1792 John Paul Jones Commemorative Saber

Don't know much about this saber and can't find any info at all. It was apparently made to commemorate John Paul Jones, as it was made around his time of death. The handle appears to be wood and brass.

I 8 oz can of York River Oysters canned by Aughinbaugh Canning in the early 1900's This is the "Nigger Head" brand of oysters from this period
